MS Lifelines is the patient support program sponsored by EMD/Serono and Pfizer, developer of therapies for multiple sclerosis. In support of the program, I worked on a comprehensive communications platform that included monthly e-newsletters, updating web copy, development of a Facebook page, and writing the MS Lifelines magazine. A quarterly print and digital publication, MS Lifelines featured health and lifestyle tips and interviews with patients, health care providers, and subject matter experts.

Meet Sarah
You shouldn’t let relapsing MS hold you back from your dreams, especially your dreams of parenthood, according to Sarah, mother of an outgoing and active 3-year-old. In fact, Sarah says that her daughter Emma is “one step ahead” of her peers because having a mom with MS teaches her compassion and understanding. Not that MS doesn’t present some extra challenges in being a mother, but “you learn to deal with it,” explains Sarah, who offers several coping strategies that any mom would find useful.
